| Adaptive Technologies | Discussions have been held with C-Tech and AchieveResults re special SUNY pricing. Investigating U-wide licensing with Premier Software. |
| Anti-Virus | See Network Associates (McAfee) and Sophos in Contract listings. Discussions have also been held with Command and Norton, but no agreement has been reached. |
| Appworx | Discussions are underway for a U-wide contract. AppWorx is providing SUNY discounts at this time, in the absence of a formal contract. |
| Autodesk (Autocad) | Preliminary discussions were held regarding a SUNY-wide agreement. Discussions to date have not resulted in advantageous SUNY-wide terms. As an alternative, campuses may wish to see SolidWorks in the Contracts listing. |
| Blackboard | Blackboard acquired WebCT. Discussions have been held toward a SUNY-wide contract with BlackBoard for both Blackboard and WebCT products and services; however, no agreement has been reached. |
| Citrix | Discussions were held regarding a SUNY-wide agreement. Citrix prefers to work under its State agreement. Information is at http://www.ogs.state.ny.us/purchase/snt/awardnotes/7608618158can.HTM. |
| Filesharing/File Downloading | Discussions have been held with companies that provide legal filesharing of music, video and other digital resources. We will continue to investigate, based on campus interest and industry developments. No SUNY-wide contract anticipated at this time. |
| Gartner Group | Proposal received for campuswide subscription to Gartner online resources. To date, there is insufficient interest from campuses to proceed. System Admin. coordinates an annual group subscription to take advantage of Gartnerīs volume discounting. |
| IBM | State Comptroller would not approve direct SUNY-wide contract with IBM. Campuses are advised to acquire IBM products and services through appropriate State of New York contracts. |
| Macromedia | Macromedia acquired by Adobe. Macromedia products available under the SUNY-wide UBMicro contract for Adobe products. |
| Microsoft | Campuses not interested in Microsoft Campus Agreement through UBMicro (see contract listings) may buy individual licenses at Education Select prices through State contract PT61408. |
| SAS | Discussions have been held regarding a SUNY-wide agreement. Unable to reach acceptable terms at this time. |
| Touchnet | Available to SCT campuses through the SUNY SCT contract. Touchnet offering special SUNY pricing. |
